Subsidy under Solar Rooftop Scheme
If the customer wants to install solar panels on the roof, then 40 percent subsidy is given by the government for installing solar panels of 3 kW capacity.
Under the Solar Rooftop Subsidy Scheme, a subsidy of 20 percent will be given by the central government for setting up a solar rooftop plant up to 500 kW. Install the solar plant yourself or get it installed on RESCO model (investment will be done by the developer instead of you). 1kw solar power requires 10 square meters of space.
